Announcing a change in Scrive’s leadership

Today we are announcing a transition in our leadership team as we welcome a new CEO to lead the company on our continued growth journey. After co-founding Scrive thirteen years ago and spending the last six years as CEO, Viktor Wrede has made the decision to transition from the CEO position into the role of Chief Strategy Officer. In his place, Mads Rebsdorf, an experienced industry leader, will join Scrive assuming the role of CEO, from the 1st of November 2023.

Patrick Svensk, Chairman of the Board, says, “Under Viktor Wrede’s leadership, Scrive has experienced a tremendous transformation from being a start-up to a thriving team of 200 professionals dedicated to providing mission-critical products and services to more than 10,000 companies. Scrive is now in the perfect position to continue its journey and capture a significant part of the European market within its industry and, with Mads joining and Viktor in his new role, we have a great setup and strong competence to deliver on that opportunity”.

Scrive has succeeded by a strong  commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction and Viktor has played a pivotal role in that and fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and commitment.

Mads Rebsdorf brings extensive experience and a proven track record of success to Scrive. With a background in software development and entrepreneurship, Mads has held leadership positions in sales, product development, management, and executive roles. His previous tenure includes serving as Chief Revenue Officer at Kahoot!, where he played a pivotal role in driving strong global adoption and growth for the company. Mads also spent nearly a decade at Visma, where he significantly expanded Visma’s presence in Denmark.

Mads Rebsdorf expressed his enthusiasm for joining Scrive, stating, “I am honoured to be joining Scrive and am looking forward to working alongside such a talented and dedicated team with so many opportunities ahead. The accomplishments of Scrive are impressive and I am excited that Viktor continues to be a part of the journey driving key strategic initiatives and customer relationships.”
