Automating motor vehicle registration in Norway
Scrive announces a new integration that greatly simplifies the registration of motor vehicle sales and leasing documents in Norway.
The integration works in combination with the Scrive eSign service to submit sales and leasing agreement data directly to Brønnøysundregistrene, which operates many of Norway’s most important registries. Brønnøysundregistrene makes it easier to relate to the Norwegian public sector by developing and operating digital services that streamline, coordinate and simplify dialogue with public bodies for private individuals and enterprises.
The Scrive integration automates the submission of tinglysning data to Brønnøysundregistrene for finance companies handling the sale and leasing of motor vehicles. The paperless process shortens processing times by up to two weeks, eliminates admin tasks and reduces errors. The Scrive integration conforms with regulations on electronic communication when registering a sales lien and leasing a motor vehicle.
How it works
The initiator creates the tinglysning agreement by entering all the necessary information into a PDF template in Scrive eSign Online, then clicks “Start signing”. After that, there is nothing more for the initiator to do.
Scrive eSign collects the e-signatures from all the signing parties. Once the tinglysning agreement is signed, the Scrive integration extracts the necessary data from the document and automatically submits it to Brønnøysundregistrene for processing. The initiator of the agreement will receive status updates by email, for example to confirm that the tinglysning process has been completed successfully, or to advise if any information is missing or incorrect.
