Since setting up Scrive’s solution, Curae Zorg went from printing employments contracts and 30-page employee handbooks to digitalising the entire process and therefore going 100% paperless and reducing their risk to 0.

Curae Zorg wanted to bring a fresh breath of air into the homecare industry in the Netherlands. Part of doing this was ensuring they delivered a superior, digital onboarding experience.
When new staff members join Curae Zorg, a number of different processes are started, some of which include documents that need to be shared and sometimes signed. With the roll-out of Scrive’s solutions, Curae Zorg Zorg was able to cut down administration in these areas by 50%, meaning a 20% reduction in administrative time for the business overall.
This has also translated into quicker response times, taking these from weeks to minutes or hours, as well as significant cost savings and improvements to Curae Zorg’s carbon footprint.

Co-founder Huseyin Jielmans started Curae Zorg together with his wife Patricia Tan in 2016 in a garage but has, since then, moved into a large office, growing it to a business with over 500 clients and 100 employees. Within the care industry there’s a lot of paperwork to deal with and as such Curae Zorg chose HR and recruitment as the first step in their digitalisation.
Huseyin looked into a variety of different providers but found Scrive to be the stand-out option, due to speed, price and ease of use, as well as the quality of assistance they received from Scrive during the initial steps of the project.

When hiring new employees, Curae Zorg’s HR department needed to print not only contracts but a 30-page employee handbook. This, on top of having to mail contracts and wait for them to return, created big bottlenecks in the process.
Curae Zorg would often wait upwards of 4 weeks for employment contracts to be mailed back fully signed, and even then there was a potential of it being filled out incorrectly or not returned at all.

Not only the new process helped centralise and therefore minimise administration time, it sped up the process of getting contracts signed. This went from 4 weeks to e-mail being sent back right away.
Once Curae Zorg saw the benefits of the solution in the field, they are looking into new processes internally to streamline processes across the organisation.

Using Scrive’s solutions, this has now been reduced to hours or even minutes!
With the new process, it’s easier for everyone involved to know exactly where each contract is in its respective process, and Curae Zorg’s legal team rests easier knowing Scrive’s solutions are built with compliance in mind.
So far, feedback from all sides has been extremely positive. This has been due both to the aforementioned ease of use and the overall improvement of processes. This digitalisation project has also helped Curae Zorg stand out as a pioneer in their field as the Dutch healthcare industry has been relatively slow in the adoption of new technology.
