Start your authentication journey

eID Hub simplifies the integration of identification, authentication and signing into your own systems, with a single API supporting multiple identity services. You can integrate using either our dedicated REST API or OpenID Connect. Scrive supports you throughout the whole process, from testing to implementation to post-implementation support. Our eID Hub was created by developers, for developers, making it easy to use and implement.
To get started:

Contact Scrive sales to request your API token so you can access our demo application and the testbed environment API.
Use your test credentials to try the demo application.
Implement your API integration.
Obtain your production credentials.

Verify age without exposing unnecessary personal data

Scrive eID Hub’s Age Verification endpoint is designed around data minimisation.
Instead of returning full identity information, the endpoint confirms only whether the user meets a configurable age threshold.

The result is a simple boolean response:

This helps businesses:

reduce exposure to sensitive personal data
support GDPR data minimisation
simplify compliance processes
minimise unnecessary data handling
maintain frictionless onboarding flows

If a platform only needs to know whether a user is above 18, it should not need to process additional identity data. Read more here.

The eID Hub is OpenID Connect (OIDC) certified. This certification confirms that the eID Hub has successfully passed rigorous automated tests, ensuring alignment with the specified conformance profile of the OpenID Connect protocol. Endorsed by the OpenID Foundation, this certification program validates our commitment to industry standards, elevates security measures, promotes interoperability, and instils confidence in users and partners regarding the robustness of our authentication and identity management capabilities.

Norwegian BankID

PIN by SMS
